YSL Glossy Stain 4 Mauve Pigmente Swatch

I love this glossy stain! It goes on smoothly, and stays on pretty well. It feels a bit sticky when you first apply it to your lips, but dries up a bit after and still looks glossy.  The only thing that I don't love about this glossy stain is the smell, but overall a great lip gloss stain.   <3

Memebox Callabo x Vangabond Youth Unboxing!

It's been busy, busy, busy for me.  Sorry I took this long to unbox this Memebox Callabo x Vangabond Youth.  I loved everything in this box!!  There isn't one product in here that I thought I wouldn't use, so I'm really glad that I picked up this box.  This is seriously a very well thought out and put together box if you're into makeup products. #1: good'p Madeca Cream  Full Size Product: 20ml ($24) Product Description: This is a pre-makeup skincare cream.  It absorbs fast and deep into the skin, and works to smooth out fine wrinkles as well as brighten up the overall complexion. I used this cream before putting on my makeup, it works just like a primer.  According to the description, the ingredients are supposed to penetrate deep into your skin, just like a skincare product.  I'm not sure if it really has that type of benefits, but I'm pretty happy with the way it absorbs and prime my skin for a smoother makeup application.

Beauty Finds That Won't Break The Bank - Innisfree Mineral Blusher 05 Apricot

Innisfree Mineral Blusher Color: 05 Apricot Approx. Price: $ 7-8 (online:  en.koreadepart.com) My friend's niece brought this over from Korea when she visited the States, and I was lucky enough to have been given this blush along with many other popular Korean beauty products. <3   I've heard of Innisfree, and have seen their numerous product placements in Korean dramas, so I know how popular it is in Asia.  The packaging is very simple, and the quality is great!  As you can tell, I've been using this a lot, it's definitely my go to blush.  It has a lovely golden shimmery sheen that gives your face a nice healthy glow. The formula is lightweight, the color is beautiful,  and the quality is excellent.  Best part is, it's extremely inexpensive.  Love it!

Memebox Callabo x CutiePieMarzia 3 Unboxing!

Hi Everyone, I will be unboxing several different beauty boxes this month. Here's one of many Memebox unboxing, it's the CutiePieMarzia 3 box!  This is the first CutiePieMarzia box that I bought, there have been 2 other boxes that were released earlier, but I didn't end up buying them.  After missing out on the 1st and 2nd box, I decided to purchase this one.  I'm really glad I did!  This box was $23, and it came with 8 products inside.  If you were to buy anything from Memebox, I do have monthly discount codes for you in the "shopping deals" link on my menu bar above. I liked most of  the products in this box except for maybe 2 items that I don't see myself using, and might be giving away in December! Make sure you subscribe to either my blog or channel, to get a chance to win some products! *Giveaway* #1: Etude House Melting Summer Nails (01 Cotton Candy Bead Ice)                            Full Size Product: $4 How To Use: Drop beads on pain

It's October!!

It's already October, what does this mean?  It means that Halloween is just around the corner, families will be gathering for Thanksgiving next month, and crazy steals and deals will be available on Black Friday & Cyber Monday, Christmas is roughly two and a half months away, but most importantly October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month! This may not be a topic of choice for many people, but as a woman, I truly believe that it's important for all of us to spread the word and raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. We all have women in our lives that are important to us, whether it's our mother, our sister(s), our friends, etc., and even ourselves.   Simply by encouraging anyone over 40 to take the initiative to consult with the doctor about when they should start getting mammogram, or by encouraging adult women of all ages including ourselves to perform breast self-exams at least once a month, we can be making a difference.   It

September 2014 IPSY Bag Unboxing

Sorry it took me so long to finally show you what's in my very first IPSY bag!   I received this last month, and it's $10/month for the subscriptions (tax might be added depending on your location). Even though it's late, but I hope you will still enjoy this. The September IPSY bag came in this really cute studded silver/gunmetal pouch.  I received 5 items in my bag, and at least 3 of them are full size products.  #1) Pacifica 7 Free Nail Color in "Red Red Wine"  (0.45 fl oz.) - full size product.  Retail $9 About it: 100% Vegan Cruelty-free.  7 FREE is formulated without parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals. What I think: I have the actual color on my nail in the photo.  I painted my nails about a week+ ago, so if the color doesn't look as great, it's because I've had it on for a while, not because of the product.  I think the nail polish lasted a pretty long t

Flameless LED Candles That Are Great For Fall & Winter

I love to buy candles and use them as decor in my room and for creating ambiance, particularly during the fall and winter seasons.  Recently, my sister found these amazing Flameless LED Candles at Costco, it came in a set with 3 large vanilla scented wax pillars, 4 unscented wax votives, and 4 unscented tea lights. I guess they have these patented realistic wick that makes it look a lot like real candles.  The large wax pillars has a nice vanilla scent that's not too overpowering; it even flickers to mimic a real candle.   Great for creating a centerpiece, or for decor around the house, and the tea lights fit in standard tea light holders.  I think they are great to have for holiday parties, and for decorating pumpkins on Halloween.  It's extremely safe to use, and you don't have to worry about anyone knocking it over, that's a plus.  I'm sure there are other Flameless LED Candles out there, but these were very affordable, they cost about $20/set at Costco.  Love

Sephora Kiss Me Balm "03 Strawberry Fizz-Pink" & "05 Candy Apple-Red" Swatches

I recently bought these two Kiss Me Balm from Sephora.  They smell a bit like artificial candy flavors (not great, but not super awful).  The Kiss Me Balm glides on the lips easily, and it feels like you're wearing lip balm, but appears more like gloss. Depending on the condition of your lips, the color may appear smooth on your lips or uneven if your lips are chapped.  These two colors are very vibrant and pigmented, but the staying power is mediocre.  When I first applied it on, the color was really vibrant.  As I drank a bottle of iced tea, the color started to come off, but I guess that's pretty normal for most tinted lip balms.  At the end of the afternoon, my lips still had a little hint of color. It's affordable and cute, so I would still consider having it in your purse for a quick fix, or possibly getting it as gifts for others.  They are available at Sephora for $8 each. Here are the two colors that I've tried. Left: Candy Apple Red     Right: Straw

Beauty Finds That Won't Break The Bank - Physicians Formula Nude Wear : Glowing Nude Bronzer

Physicians Formula Glowing Nude Bronzer Shade: Light Bronzer 6236 Approx. Price: $14.00 First of all, I have to say that this bronzer has an extremely cute packaging for a drugstore product, and its quality is excellent.  On the reverse side of this box, there's a mirror for your convenience and a brush is also included. This bronzer has very fine translucent pigments and it gives your skin a natural looking glow.   Under certain lighting, I can see fine shimmers on my face, while other people were unable to detect it.  To achieve a natural-looking tan glow, I lightly apply the powder all over my face.   To accentuate and contour, I apply some over my cheekbones. It's definitely a great product to have, and it's a nice "one and done" product if I just need a quick natural glow.   I would give this product:

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish Swatches

I liked it enough to go and buy more of these Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in several other colors.  Here are the swatches for them.  Note:  you can remove it with just a normal nail polish remover...it came off pretty easily:)

Beauty Finds That Won't Break The Bank - Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate Moss (111 Kiss of Life)

Okay, so this is not a new product, I think it came out in 2013. I do think it's really worth checking out, if you're in the market for some lipsticks that really won't break the bank. I bought this lipstick for about $6.50 at a local drugstore, and there are several colors to choose from. This Rimmel lipstick looks pretty cute for a drugstore lipstick, and it applies really smoothly on the lips; it's also extremely rich and pigmented in color. It's slightly scented as well, but I can't quite pinpoint what it really smells like (nothing awful though). I would buy more colors from them, but I'm currently still waiting for some lipstick purchases to come, so it's probably better for me to hold off for now.  I think I've been playing "catch up" with lipsticks lately...I've been trying to make up for all those years that I spent buying lip glosses instead :(   I'll have more lipstick swatches for you guys next time.   Rimmel Lond
